I just discovered this.
I was playing the new Happy Feet Sink Or Swim game, the only rules are to eat fish, and not hit an iceberg, because then you die. So I played, and I kept dying even though I didnt hit any icebergs, and I saw no timer, so I was like what's going on here? I couldnt score over 300.
I played the same game on the official happy feet site, had no problems, and got a score of over 600.
So it seems Neopets shortens their sponser games, which in turn doesnt allow us to get that many NP's from them. I personally felt like they cheated me and let it be known on the boards, but then again sponser games come and go very quickly.

Well that's interesting. I guess most of the sponsor games won't really get you that many neopoints, but many people just play them so they can get game scores added to their games list because they're trying to get the top gamer avvie.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Sponser games not only gave you low neopoints.. they are.. well.. stupid.. They are just for advertisement. I guess Neopets makes it that way so their entire site isn't always about sponser games (which is a good thing, who wants to support a tool?)

Certain sponsor games that are fairly short and give you anywhere between 700 and 1,000 neopoints are good. There have been many of these in the past but there are only a few at the moment such as Lucky Charms: Triple Track, A Trix Twisting Turn, and the Last Mimzy Pair Compare. They all require some degree of practice, though. As for that Happy Feet game, I ran into the same problem. You get extra points for swimming close to the iceberg, but I kept hitting into an "invisible iceberg."
