I'm a massive CSI fan. I watch it nightly.
On topic Its definately not a spider. Its a bug much closer to that of an Ant I'd say as Mantis' usuallt have wings and longer legs. It looks like an Ant with a mlti segmented body.

The bug is actually quit easy to fight. It has an hp of 15. I beat in three turns and I'm not much of a BDer. I think I found a plot I can acually complete. I whizzed through the deck puzzle in about 15 minutes and I just finished the BD in about five minutes.

I fought the buggy thing 50 times last night... I'll fight it more tonight just until I can fight it no more... taking me about two turns now.
(CSI... I watch all three religiously.)

I'm only a big fan of CSi. Miami and New York i only watch sopratically. Miami has a lead there.
Work is seriosuly cutitng into my battling time. Only beat the buggy 15 times so far. Wanna hit 30-35. I'm not much of a battledomer.

How many times do you have to beat this thing?! I'm a horrible BD'er and it would reassure me some if I knew you just had to beat it once.
(I think David Caruso is fabulous. Miami is the only one that seems to be on when I switch on my TV)

I think if you want full credit for "solving" the plot, either once or not at all. If it's like many (but, I believe, not all) previous plots, the more times you beat it, the more points you will get at the end. I beat it way too many times in the past two days, considering I'm an adult and all.

But will probably beat it 10 to 20 more times when I get in form work.

I had gotten to 75 wins pretty easily, and read on a neoboard that someone fought it 101 times, so I just had to beat that...
Of course, that meant fighting it 125 times. Still no difficulty beating the bug but I'm not sure if I'll go for more wins.
I know with the TOW I didn't fight enough until the very end, and I could have fought more on almost all of them. What that mayor did to my battledome stats though, I just don't want to think about.
