I must be slow. I totally missed that the prizes are out. How do I find out how many points I have and where can I go to see the prizes?
Nevermind. Found the link in the news. I only have 1200 points. This is the only plot that I've ever battled in, so I'm proud of myself anyway.

unfortunately the sketch is still showing up as a yellow box (when put in a Neohome room)
Bleh, I'm going to have to stay away from it then, who knows when they'll fix it? I'm still waiting for them to fix the Snowy Stone Wall from the Daily Dare prizes back in March.
I went ahead and bought a couple of the Giant Jaw Bones. If anybody wants to see what they look like I stuck them in my Sands Of Time Garden:

They make really nice natural flower planters.
I also have the SS Primella Life Preserver in RubyTuesday's Room: http://www.neopets.com/neohome.phtml?typ...ent=calvinorion

Hmmm... did anyone get more than 1325 points?
The inclusion of wearable items is great but.. wow, the prices! I can never decide what to buy, and I don't have enough points to buy both wearable items. The battledome stuff is rarely worth anything, the plushies are quite attractive but I wouldn't use them, nor would I use garden items, books, or toys.
I have a great temptation to get that Moach plush, though it'd just rot in my SDB. The wearables seem sensible, but which?! Gah! I wish we could get both! They're way too expensive to go buying from the shops... anyone think they'll go down from 60-99k?!
I don't want to waste any of my points, but I DO want to see my trophy! Can anyone post a pic?
I'm so disappointed by this plot. They had so much they could do with it, but no, they did everything "by the book" and it ended really really quickly. My optimistic side keeps thinking they're just toying with us and they're not so insolent as to give us such a sub-standard ending, whilst my pessimistic side is well aware that I should expect nothing more from them.

They didn't do any innovating at all. It was just a rehash of all the plot elements and storylines they have done several times before. Obviously sitewide events like plots are what keep the masses hanging around but if future plots are going to be as commonplace as this one was I dunno if it'll be enough to keep people's interest.
Trophy - (Everbody's is the same.)

Some people on the Neoboards claimed to have up to 1375 points, but no more.
Seren, the hats are already down to 55,000 NP; I think further deflation is somewhat likely. But I already bought mine with more NP than that (still have all of my plot points) so I guess I'll just hold on to my poor investment. After all, I am partial to hats.
I didn't hate the plot, and frankly, the prizes were a ton better than the Altador Plot (which IMO was much harder). I think it could've been neater, but they had a very limited time frame. It was a pleasant surprise to see the plot prizes come out in an almost reasonable timeframe, and the fact that the plot did progress and end in a fairly steady manner is a bonus to me. I did not like that the characters were all stereotypes (well, excepting Rourke, who was awesome...well, maybe a little bit of a stereotype...). You know, the learned professor and his daughter, the spunky young kid, the "witty"/dashing adventurer, etc.... But given that they couldn't fit in an epic plot, that's the only thing I would've really hoped they would have done better on.
Well, and I would've liked the island to actually become a place to visit.

First-person narration is still hard.

You know, I don't think this plot is *really* over; I still think there's more to come somewhere down the line---I hope Captain Rourke will be in it again, however, since he's my absolute favorite. XD

The Fairweathers and their scientific team are currently trying to put together another expedition to the island.
Taken from the Neopedia article on Lilian Fairweather. I think this is a clue that it's just the beginning.
I bought the moach plushie and the Scrap one too, along with the life preserver. I just chose stuff I liked this time around.
