Is it just me, or have they increased the speed?

I was playing it today and found it awfully fast!

Sometimes it seems faster than others -

Personally I prefer faster than slower, as it seems easier to squeeze through spaces between scoops when the scoops are moving faster. The reason the higher levels are hard for me is because there are so many scoops on the screen at one time.
