Okay, so I'd like to know, to you, what's the best battledome item?
I mean, there must be hundreds of great items, but I just want to know, what's your ONE favorite?

I'm a fan of my Pike Pike. I use it with the Halo of Devilpuss I got from NQ II. Does a decent job. They aren't top weapons but they are good for someone at a lower level. I also like borrowing my friend's Honey Potion, but it's only usable once per battle.
In general... I think the two level 50 prizes from Illusen and Jhudora are the top weapons, maybe? and the SUAP, of course.
The in depth battlepedia has a great list of the top rated weapons and armor... but that doesn't mean the most effective. They rate based on availability and bang for buck... so the Scarab ring is on there because it's cheap and does a great job for the price.

I particularly like Scarab Rings because they're inexpensive and do like 9 icons.

One thing I've always thought about signatures is that they don't really serve much of a use. I mean, this is pretty obvious, but honestly, no matter how many images you put in your signature supporting various charities, no one will really look at them. Maybe the first time they see a post by you, they'll look at your signature, but after that? Nothing. So honestly, you don't really care what's here, and after a while, you won't even notice it's here.
