Well Hello there I have a question about the hidden tower...
The price seem to be the same as the trading post... is there a time when they are lower?

It's more that the trading post is the same as the hidden tower, really. People don't want to make a loss on items they've bought and chosen to sell on, so they're not going to price them cheaper than what they paid for them from the hidden tower. Trading post prices may be more or the same, or sometimes less, than the prices in the hidden tower - these fluctuate. Prices in the hidden tower remain the same no matter what. Only TNT can change those prices, and they tend to stay the same.
So in answer to your question, yes hidden tower prices may sometimes be lower than the trading post prices - but only if a user wants to make a profit on an item they bought from the hidden tower, and hence priced their item higher.

I never pay much attention to the Hidden Tower. Does Half Price day affect the prices there?

Why in the world would anyone pay more than the HT for an item. It's permanently in stock and the prices never change unless TNT has recently added the item and they find that it's either more or less popular than they were thinking it would be and lower/raise the price to match demand.

Nope. Half Price day only affects shops that restock... Which excludes the HT because everything is always in stock unless Fyora is just out of the Tower.
Usually, people with a HT item will sell it for less than the HT specifically because they have to if they want any chance of selling the items... although I suppose that if a under 4 month user worked really hard and could afford a HT item like a Royal PB or something, they *might* want to pay more to get it immediately, as they can't access the HT... but with most HT items, there are people on the TP willing to sell lower than the HT. Plus, the first time you buy something there you get an avatar... extremely ugly one, I might add. Michael Jackson, anyone???

To catch out the people that don't know any better? If someone's, say, been away from the site for a long time, they may not know that certain items are stocked in the Hidden Tower. They may not even remember the Hidden Tower exists. So they go to the trading post and buy whatever it is they want there, unawares that it can be bought cheaper elsewhere. I know, it's unlikely, but you never know

It's probably just a way to show off your expensive items instead of putting them in a gallery where fewer people will see them.
You charge more than it's worth and it stays on display. And, if someone is foolish enough to buy it, you have the NP to buy a replacement (plus a little profit.)
