Please can you post the information here
Please note that if you are posting about MIA items it is a big help if you can post the Item Name, Description, Rarity and ID number. If you need help finding out the ID number then this might help: NeoItems and ID Numbers
Thanks to everyone for their help with the previous thread!

Hi!
The Trombone (ID# 11848) used to be in the Toy category but is now in the Instruments category. Thanks!

Thanks! I'll change it. Looks like the Trumpet released along with it is still a Toy, weird.

Hallelujah. There were a handful of instruments that were still "toys." Maybe they fixed them all.
ETA: Nope. Just the Trombone Trumpet, Rainbow Maracas, Set of Spoons and The Hikalakas Maracas are all still toys.

Not a MIA item but an error Doubled Bladed Staff listed in the data base is actually listed as the Double bladed staff on neopets. Nitpicky I know but helps when finding it on the trading post even if only one exists at the moment XD

Not nitpicky at all! If it's a mistake, it's a mistake no matter how small. Honestly if you said we added an extra space in a description I'd go back and fix it, lol. Thanks kindly =D

Item: Silver Shoyru Soda Description: Be careful, this mug look like it might try to fly away. Rarity: 101
I've neomailed the owner of the item for the ID (it's currently on the TP), but no reply yet. She posted on the Help Boards asking how to price it. Unfortunately I have a feeling she thinks I'm trying to scam her somehow, I'll post if she tells me, ^^

Thanks for the description, that's in!
Good luck getting the id number...unfortunatley people often do think you are trying to scam them when you ask for the id number...
(Don't worry if they report you btw...I think people like delerious and triana have both been reported loads of times before and its never gone anywhere!)

So, update on the Silver Shoyru Soda: There are now several on the TP. I neomailed all of the current ones and got an ID number: 39757 That's from just one person, so if the others happen to respond with a different number, I'll update. Yay, for knocking items off the non-active lists!

Thank you very much Sita! We usually have a basic idea of what an ID will be (based on what's available and what other items like it are numbered). That one fits very nicely in with the other IDs we have for those code items so I'm pretty sure it's right.
We're always in need of more item hunters. Especially neomailers because it's so time consuming! So what I'm saying is, if you enjoy it please keep at it, it's an enormous help
New code items we still need IDs for:
Blue Elephante Sundae The Blue Elephante Poogles in Camouflage Cloud Meerca Cocoa Meerca in the Clouds Island Bruce Hot Tea The Island Bruce Island JubJub Style Island Kacheek Fruit Drink Island Kacheek Lolly Island Kacheek Pen Kacheeks Going Island Orange Kougra Fruit Juice Orange Kougras Hopping Pink Silver Aisha Apple Silver Aisha Beach Ball Silver Aisha Book Silver Aisha Soda Silver Gelert Fizzy The Silver Gelert On the Wing of a Silver Shoyrus Silver Shoyru Beach Ball Speckled Uni Milk Shake The Speckled Uni Spotted Kau Beach Ball The Spotted Kau Yellow Xweetok Beach Ball
We have a ways to go still

Thanks for the list, I was just wondering what has been found, just not updated yet. Several of those items are now on the TP (TNT has been busy!) so I'll be sending off some neomails!
And yes, I do enjoy knocking things off lists, ^^

Seems like everything on the list has the rarity and description already, so here's a few ID numbers.
Blue Elephante Sundae #39773 Cloud Meerca Cocoa #39767 The Island Bruce #39738 Island Kacheek Pen #39775 Silver Aisha Beach Ball #39729 The Silver Gelert #39728 Speckled Uni Milk Shake #39756
Like before, I neomailed several different users, so if any discrepancies on the IDs pop up, I'll let you know, ^^
How long does it usually take before the database itself is updated?

Depending on item releases and how active Webbie, Poeia and Delirious are since they are the only three who have been given permission to upload id numbers (although a few select others like me could do it but we don't want to confuse ourselves), usually once a week, although there has been times when we have gone about three weeks because there was nothing substantial. This only for activation though.
For searchables, unsearchable, unannounced, unobtainable and 1-player bd, usually they get updated asap. This is why sometimes you will see a NC Mall item in the searchable part.
Sometimes we get excited though if TNT does something drastic, like the release of the jellies a few days back. In the span of three days the database was updated three times.

Haha, so true. When things actually get released I honestly get excited about it and like putting more time into updating the site. When things are slow and nothing new happens in the way of item releases... well, I just get sad opening up my worksheet lol.
Thanks for the IDs! Seems you have a knack for neomailing. Trainra just found a ton also so I'll probably be doing another update shortly. In the mean time our needed IDs for the code items are:
The Blue Elephante Poogles in Camouflage Kacheeks Going Island Orange Kougra Fruit Juice Silver Aisha Apple Silver Aisha Beach Ball Silver Aisha Book Silver Aisha Soda Silver Gelert Fizzy On the Wing of a Silver Shoyrus Silver Shoyru Beach Ball The Speckled Uni The Spotted Kau Yellow Xweetok Beach Ball

This is the only one I have to add so far today,
Silver Aisha Beach Ball #39729
I have a few neomails "pending" so we'll see what comes of those.

I'd say one ID closer is a good day
We also commonly neomail for higher rarity items. My rule is usually r90+ I'll neomail for, but there are expectations that don't pop up very quickly in user shops that we're better off asking for.

Another factor, for me, is how long the list waiting to be activated is. Back in the days when Neopets actually released items (other than clothing and Mall stuff), waiting 2 weeks might mean there were 100 or more items to be activated. That takes too long and I get slap-happy, putting ID numbers in the description boxes, etc. So I'd have to double proof everything. When it gets to be around 50 items, I'll try to do it (although Delirious is doing most of the database maintenance these days.)

I believe that leaves Silver Shoyru Beach Ball left, of which massivebeater has one in trades, so I'll see if I can't track her down, ^^

Searchable Items. These are the items that TNT has released (or thinks they've released.) If you put their names in the Shop Wizard, it will search for them (rather than saying "Searching for: ...") These are the items we need ID numbers for (and, sometimes rarity and description) before we can activate them.
The way to generate an up-to-date version of this list is to go to the database and change Status from "Active" to "Searchable."

Actually *cough* that'd be one of our small mistakes. I realized Island of Kacheeks was an r98 book we already had activated so I took the second one out.
