Wow. What will they think of next?

At the moment I don't have (and don't plan to have) any tattoos as I prefer being a clean skin but as soon as they invent tattoos that can move (like a fire breathing dragon - literally) and you can control where they are on your body then I'm going straight out and getting one.

But that'll probably be quite some time in the future (I might be like 90 by then )

As for piercings I have one in my nose and that is it. I don't even have my ears pierced. Just went in around 5 years ago and got the nose done (with a needle). It got infected but the great thing about the nose is that people can't really tell when it is swollen so no one noticed (but me, of course).

When I have my big stud in people do notice it (if they actually look at your face- it is surprising how many people don't actually look closely). But I will put a smaller one in for formal occasions or take it out entirely for job interviews etc.
I can leave it out for around 8 hours with no problems. Then again, I've never tried leaving it out for longer.

And I quite like my brown hair colour. Due to surfing, swimming and horseriding it has blondish streaks through it but can also look reddish too in the right light. But I'm also too lazy to remember to dye it and I really don't like the two-tone effect that some people get when they forget to dye again so I won't bother at all.

The benefit of keeping my hair so short is that by the time my roots start growing out, I don't really have to worry about how I'm going to bleach and dye them without damaging the hair that's already been dyed -- it just gets shaved off, bleached, and dyed.

Moving tattoos... well they do perform, operations we'll call them, when they will cut the skin that the tattoo is on and move it to another part of the body. Don't ask me why you'd want to. The pictures are not so nice, but there you go. They do branding and scarification too.

I'll stick to tattooing, it looks nicer.

I've only ever had red streaks in my hair, never died it. I have little patience for my hair in general.

Welllll... I live in a small town (it's not even a town; it's a village!), so they probably don't care all that much about looks. Heck, I wear chopsticks to work and everyone calls me "Chopsticks", because I swear no one has even *seen* chopsticks, let alone someone wearing them in their hair. I did get the cook wearing them though. XD

You look really awesome! I never imagined you looked like that either; but I really don't want to bleach my hair out, especially if I'm going to use it only on a few certain spots in my hair. It's already been dyed several times with a 'natural' red color. Ack. My hair completely sucks, I swear.

*LOL* Summer; I can imagine you with tattoos when you're 90! XD

On the days when my hair behaves itself. Very rarely! Gotta go make it look nice now... hate doing it on rainy days. I may just shove it up in a bun and forget it.

Now you guys got me wanting my tattoos and gauging my ears again. I'm already having with drawl from not being tattooed in four months.

puffkins, if you want brightly-colored streaks or something, you only have to bleach out those spots. You can use cool-colored dyes in unbleached hair for a subtle effect, but it'll only be really eye-poppingly bright with treated hair.

You people and your long hair. xD I used to keep mine really long (and I LOVED using chopsticks or chopstick-type hair things to hold it up) but I wanted to do something drastic with it and lobbed it off. It's so much easier to care for at this length that going back to long hair is an almost impossible thought.

You can pull off that type of hair... I alas, cannot.

I never thought I'd be able to pull it off, either. At the time, though, I just didn't care. Things were hectic/traumatic in my life and I just wanted something to have some control over.

My hair used to be kept in almost the same style as yours, Gooly! I let mine grow out longer as the years progressed, though, and I never could pull off the off-center part. It looks great on you.

My life is one big trauma right now, so most of the time the hair doesn't get to look nice. I control the make-up, that's about it.

I thank you My mum always got onto me about having a centre part. She really likes my side parts now. Not so much nagging

I can't begin to imagine doing the centre part anymore, very attached to my side part. I can go left or right depending on my mood.

I was going for a bit of subtle effect, but where it was also noticeable. Ah, well... maybe I *will* have to use something to bleached my hair and go wild with pink streaks or something! *LOL*

I used to have hair almost down to my butt; but I got it chopped off above my shoulders and dyed red. XD Did I get the reactions! Hehe... I love my chopsticks though! I have, like, five pairs, too.

And true, you *can* pull it off---I couldn't---I love my hair too much to even have the pageboy style hair. And you look awesome, too, Gooly, by the way. My hair is just a jagged, edgy look right now.
