If there is something you want that is on the Trading Post and the cheapest price (by a LOT) is from someone who has only been playing for a week, do you buy from him/her?
In this particular case that's the only valuable item the person has. The rest of the stuff in her shop or in trades is of the 5,000 NP or less variety. I've seen some n00bs who have a dozen or more unbuyables -- I assume there's something fishy going on. This time my instinct is that it's a long-time player who lost her main account.
Would you agree or would you avoid the trade?

Normally, I try to avoid newbie sellers, especially those with a large cache of items. If they lost their main, then where did all the goods come from? Additionally, restock limits prevent newbies from restocking items with higher rarities, so they must have come from another account, stashed there from their main, or some other means.
If the item is something like a paint brush, transmog potion, or something else that is sometimes awarded in random events or as a prize (art gallery, Wheel of ____), or a low rarity (new item) UB, then I make some exceptions on buying.

It's a rarity 98 defence magic item.
It felt a little off -- not as much as if she had a lot of rare items, but I guess I'll keep looking.

I probably wouldn't have noticed more than anything lol!
There's always the possibilty that the user is a reseller who has just had a frozen account or something...these people seem to come back and make money stupidly quickly...
