Mr Scary (also called The Bat Thing) is Lord Darigan. Here is a link to the original Meridel plot: http://www.neopets.com/medieval/plot.phtml which explains the oringal war with Darigan, and his fall (here is his gallery of evil profile: http://www.neopets.com/evil/showcreature.phtml?pos=14). You can also visit him currently here: http://www.neopets.com/medieval/dariganschambers.phtml. So far as I can tell the Usul was never named.
