Two wolves were walking across the meadow, too. They did not see the other wolf, but they seemed as if they were too engrossed with wherever they were going to notice her. Though outside appearances could really say nothing, these two wolves were as different as wolves came, at least in appearance.
One of the wolves, the younger of the two, had pure white fur with no hint of any other color in it. She had large ears that took in all sounds around her. She had eyes of a purest ice blue color. She had white feathered wings, remniscent of what angels are often thought to have.
If the first wolf was light, the other was darkness. She had pitch black fur, fur that seemed to embody darkest night. Her eyes were a shiny brown color, so brown so as to seem almost black. Her left ear had two bites taken out of it, most definately made by a wolf. On her back were two bat-like or dragon-like wings. The insides were a black color, the outside being blood-red. This black wolf seemed to have no tail.
It was strange to see these two opposites travelling so close together...
